Gallatin Field (BZN) in Bozeman is your gateway to Big Sky. Frontier, Delta/Northwest, United, Allegiant, and Horizon provide service. Connecting cities include Denver, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, and Seattle.
Exit Gallatin Field, making a right turn onto Hwy. 10 (also Frontage Road). Drive 1.4 miles west through the small town of Belgrade. Turn left onto Hwy. 291 (also Jackrabbit Lane). This road passes over Interstate 90 and becomes Hwy. 85 and then Hwy. 191 (also Gallatin Road). Proceed south 7 miles once over I-90, and then go straight through the four-way stop light on Hwy. 191. Continue south on Hwy. 191 for 39 miles.
Coming from Bozeman: Get on Main Street and continue west past the Gallatin Valley Mall. Main Street becomes Huffine Lane. Continue west about eight miles to the intersection of Highway 191 and Huffine Lane. Turn left on 191 for 39 miles. Turn right at MT Highway 64 and head west nine miles through Meadow Village. Turn left at the "Welcome to Big Sky Mountain Village" sign, and then a right turn at the next small intersection. Follow the road to the first tall, seven story complex which includes the reception to Big Sky Central Reservations.
BZN has a wide range of ground transportation options including taxi and scheduled bus transportation to Big Sky, West Yellowstone (West entrance of Yellowstone National Park) and Gardner (North entrance of Yellowstone National Park).
Karst Stage (406-556-3540; www.karststage.com) and 4 X 4 Stage (406-556-3540; www.karststage.com) are the only ground transportation providers with a counter inside the Bozeman Airport. They offer scheduled shuttle service to Big Sky during the winter season. Point-to-point and door-to-door service to Big Sky is also available.
