Montafon: It Means Mountains Of Fun In Any Language -
Montafon Valley in the Voralberg includes the resorts of Schruns, Tschagguns, Gaschurn, Gargellen, Partenen, St. Gallenkirch, Gortipohl, Sibertal, Bartholomäberg, St. Anton/M., and Vandans. These are all separate resorts with extensive lift networks, long runs and any kind of terrain you seek. There are 12 individual villages, too.

St. Gallenkirch, Gortipohl, Gaschurn and Partenen are known as the “Five Stars of the High Montafon.” There are more than 100 km of well-groomed runs and unlimited acres of off-piste skiing riding on the striking Silvretta Nova range.
Montafon’s main resort is at Schruns. St. Gallenkirch and Gortipohl look like they are posed against a beautiful mountain backdrop. The Silvretta Nova is a very popular and beautiful ski area. Two gondola cable cars, Versettla and Valisera, and the Garfrescha double chair take up to the ski region.

You'll discover 26 modern lifts and 114 km of pistes. The ski area is mostly between 1600-2300 m above sea level. That means the combination of height and snowmaking equipment guarantees a long season.
Here's a fun thing to do: Take the ski safari, a guided tour with local ski guides, from the Bielerhöhe to Galtür, on over Zeinis/Kops, and through the Ganifertal back to Partenen. If that doesn't wear you out, you can ski for free every Monday night at Partenen.

Get the Montafon Ski Pass and get access to some 62 lifts, free bus travel, and use of the Montafon Railway. The pass is good at all Montafon Valley resorts.
Gateway airports are Zurich/Kloten (150 km); Altenrhein (75 km); Friedrichhafen (100 km); and Innsbruck (140 km). The ski bus ride is two hours from Innsbruck; same for the train.
