Full review

Wild Mountain is usually the first ski area to open in Minnesota. My girlfriend and I went there for a day of skiing in mid-November 2006.

They had only three runs open - a blue, a black, and the terrain park / bunny hill. It was nice to get there and shake off the rust. The downside is that it was overrun with snowboarders and the snow was more ice than anything. For $20, you'll get some time in, but you'll be hard pressed to really have a great time. If they are open, you're better off at Spirit, Lutsen, or Welch.
