Good Variety, Good Food, Extensive Beginner Area
Certain parts of the mountain don't have night skiing

Full review

Welch Village is located South of the Twin Cities and isn't that well-known. Welch has a great beginner area featuring a magic carpet, and a chairlift only servicing green runs. The Back Bowl is great for Advanced skiers. The rest of the mountain varies a lot, but it's mostly Intermediate and Advanced. Very good food. One last note, The Back Bowl and the chairlift on the far left side of the mountain are only open on Friday-Sunday and holidays. They also don't have night skiing in the Back Bowl so hit it early if you go! Have fun.
