OK, don't freak out. But the snow at Spirit Mountain is not so good.

It's weird, I know. Looking back on the past few reviews I've done of Spirit Mountain, the snow is good one time, then terrible the next. Sorry to be so confusing, but the conditions are changing faster than I can keep up with.

Today the snow was so inconsistent, it was a little scary. One second, it's soft sugary snow, then a puddle of ice, then large chunks of death cookie snow. It was less than safe. We saw two people wipe out bad, and one guy get carted down the hill by ski patrol. It's dangerous out there, kids.

Everything else is running great at Spirit...no more lift problems, which is the big thing. Just as of right now, the snow is not great.

But don't worry, there's that big snow coming. Even with the high winds, it's going to be great conditions again. A Miracle March will ensure we are skiing well into the spring, so keep checking here for future updates after the snow storm about Spirit Mountain's conditions!
