I think it is simply because they were open weekends at the end of the season. This clarifies that the season is over.

Great skiing today for 2.5 hours but turned slushy thereafter. Nobody on the runs or chairlift lines tho.

Snow can get a little slushy during the end of the day, but that's a given when spring skiing. They've still got a lot of good coverage, though most of the tree runs are closed due to lack of snow. The parks were ok, rails weren't to sticky or anything but the entrances were crooked or thin.

Yeah there's still snow. Groomers are super fun.

Any snow still up there? Is it worth the steep price?

Two days of the best spring skiing in years. Sunshine, great snow plus a high speed chair. Minnesota never had it so good.

Friday and Saturday still had a lot of great snow. there's not enough snow left in the trees to ski anymore. Some brown spots here and there on runs. A few large patches of ice or slush, depending on the weather, but easy to avoid. Almost every non-tree run is still open.
