First time at Afton was last weekend. We are new to the area. When we got there it was really crowded, but we never had to wait and the snow was great. They had people everywhere directing traffic in the lots and on the hill. In fact they had a guy on a ATV that actually helped us to find a parking spot. It was really well managed. They had people helping people with their gear as well as opening doors and being on the hill information centers. Rental was a little slow but the people were polite. Our helpers were from south america, working here for the winter which was interesting. We didn't realize how big it really is, guess that's why it didn't feel crowed on the hills. The chalet we went to on the top of the hill was a little crowed but the burger they served was worth the wait. For our first winter outing in Minnesota we were really impressed with the service, however I think we'll go back again during the week when it's not as busy. It's a good value for the dollar
