The tubing hills at Afton Alps are a lot of fun but you go down them very fast and when you get to the bottom, all you have is a fence with these bags full of foam chunks in them in front of the fence. You slam into them with such speed it actually hurts when you hit. And sometimes you go underneath the bags which doesn't feel very good either and now your worried about actually hitting the fence! They need a better way of stopping/and or slowing down. Also they need to let the people at the bottom of the hill get out of the way completely before sending the next person down. The snow tubing chalet is very small They had a couple of birthday parties there when we went and there was no room in there for anyone else. They should either add on or make a separate chalet for birthday party groups. Also they had one person working the cash register and that person has to take care of all the tubers coming in (having them sign the agreement form, writing down the "stop time" on their tickets and explaining everything about tubing) while also having people in the same line waiting to get food and drinks. It was absolute chaos and just not set up very well. The conveyor broke down as well, so everyone ended up walking up the hill most of the time.
