Great little ski area for Mid-Michigan. Good place to learn to ski. Apparently the groomer on Mondays and Tuesday is the bottom of the barrel. Grooming on Weekends is usually excellent.
Great grill and snow for the location in Michigan.
Very poor grooming on Monday and Tuesdays.

Snow Snake provides a great place for beginners, families, and people who enjoy being on a hill. Prices reflect what is offered. The lodge and bar are cozy. Rental shop is new. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Closest "up north" resort. If you have friends or family that don't ski or board, they can use the tubing hill and have fun there.
Very budget friendly. Great place to learn. Easy day trip.
Small hill.

I chaperoned a Middle School ski trip, the experience was quite good. Obviously there are bigger hills to ski I’m Michigan but the proximity to home is great, especially since Apple Mountain is now closed. Staff was friendly. I would definitely be coming back.
Well Groomed!

I came to Snow snake to ski on Mar 18th, 2018. When I get started on the snow, I found that the magic carpet is not even open. The snow condition is really bad. Very heavy. No sign of maintenance. Lots of visible dirt on the snow. It is not even safe to ski. I returned to ticket desk to ask for refund of lift ticket. My request is denied. My question is if you do not try to run that place as a ski safe place, why would you still open and collect ticket from People?

Nice family place!
Great place to go because of the cheap price and close distance, from where I live. It had a few rails and a couple boxes with one big kicker (actually pretty small 15-20'') and a small jump. Small moguls on the only other hill that was open, besides the bunny hill.
Good for families, Had small, but pretty complete boarder park
No halfpipe, VERY SMALL, only a couple runs
