My friend and I decided to visit this mountain after reading all the positive feedback from this site. We were very pumped up to see all Pine Mountain had to offer. Boy were we disappointed. We knew in advanced that they had some runs closed during the week, but still advertised 17 runs. I don't know how they come up with 17 runs, but it sure didn't feel like 17 runs were open. This is a very small hill. In reality, they maybe have have 6 runs top to bottom. Conditions were so-so, icy in spots, and not groomed well. Lifts were old and the one on the steep side didn't feel safe. The lodge itself is outdated, though Famer's is a nice place, it was the only bright spot of the day. I don't know what these other reviewers were smoking, but their positive reviews on this place are way off.
