Great Snow, Lots of terrain to explore
Shuts down for an hour and a half
My buddy and I drove up from chicago. We hit Caberfae and were going to do one of the boynes the following day. We talked to many locals at Caberfae and they pointed us to Nubs. So we hit Nubs and had a great time. The snow was great, the terrain park was well thought out. The Half pipe was pretty incredible. It was huge and it seemed to rival what the big resorts out west have! Then the resort closed down for grooming for 1.5 hours, we didn't eat at the resort but drove 5 miles into petoskey and ate a chinese buffett for $8! So even though the resort shuts down we made good of it eating! After the break, the place was pretty cleaned out, it was also a sunday night. Staff was very friendly. I would definately check this place out for a cheaper midwest ski spot!
