I've now been to about all the different Michigan resorts and finally got to Nubs... It was great skiing but really needs to have some $$$$ in updating the lifts (ZERO HIGH-SPEEDS) so lines got a bit long and S-L-O-W. I was imi-disappointed to find their NICE half pipe with a "tow-line" to get up to the top... LAME. This place is one of the few ski areas that has not become a RESORT so to speak... it's very family friendly facilities but does have one of the highest lift ticket prices around and there is NO DEALS to be found like many of the other area ski spots offer. So will I go to NUBS again... only if they offer a up some deals next year??? To be honest, Boyne Highlands is accross the street, they have a bigger mountain, nicer runs, a high-speed lift, and YES they offer DISCOUNT deals!!!
