    Downhill skiing is still good at the major ski resorts in northwest Lower Michigan – thanks to snowmaking. It hasn't been the greatest winter on record, but Boyne Mountain, Crystal Mountain and Nubs Nob plan on remaining open through April 8; weather permitting of course.
