Wife and I went for the 1st time this February and were pleasantly surprised at the the skiing. We are east coast skiers and have been going up north recently (Nubs Nob and Boyne Highland). We recently purchased new skis and wanted to try them out so we did so night skiing at Mt Holly. We were impressed by the main lodge, reminded us of lodges you would find at bigger hills out east. The length of the runs were not bad, the runs truly go from the top of the hill to the bottom, not like some up north that have shallow run outs at the top and bottom. Mount Holly did not have the variety of the hills up north but for half day skiing and being local, my wife and I definitely will go back.
P.S. Mogul Mania is a great mogul training run. It is not very fast and the bumps are well spaced to give the beginning bump skier the confidence to practice before attempting steeper mogul runs.
