Terrain park, # of runs, lodging, and food are all good enough
They can have big crowds

Full review

They can have quite the crowds to deal with. Lift lines can be up to 15 minutes long. Although this is the nicest ski hill close to Grand Rapids. They have a half pipe, although is it weak in comparison to Boyne Mountain's (they have a beginner pipe and a full size pipe at Boyne). A pretty decent rail yard. They have some kickers that were alright in February. Crowds are a big problem and their runs are pretty short. The runs are all pretty easy, and if you ski only greens you may find yourself cruising the blues at Crystal. As an advanced skier its a decent warm up for going out west. I suggest you try and avoid weekends. They have awesome dining and lodging options though.
