We ski all over North America. Cannonsburg should not be expected to compete with most of the popular resorts, they are a local and small resort which caters mostly to kids. My daughter (age 3) has been taking lessons there this season and we couldn't be happier. Miss Mel is amazing with kids and Cannonsburg is lucky to have her!! I would not recommend Cannonsburg for the seasoned skier, but this is one of the best for those learning ... not because of the conditions there (which, frankly, don't really affect the beginners anyway) but because of their caring instructors. You can get good snow anywhere, caring instructors are rare jewels!
