I was very impressed with Powderhorn's night skiing. If you’re looking for a place lit up like daytime this is not the place to go. They have arranged the lights to compliment the landscape and it makes for a very enjoyable evening. I especially liked the chairlift ride as you got about 2/3 up. You leave the area under lights and you’re in darkness with thousands of stars above you. If you look back down the hill it looks like a Christmas card with the lighting on the hill, the lodge and village behind it all lit up. Off to the left was a full moon rising. As the chairlift comes over the top of the hill your back in lights for your unloading and trip back down the hill. Plenty of lights on the runs if you’re like me and enjoy staying parallel with the fall line. Bring your goggles with clear lens. Almost forgot to mention grooming was good with no surprises. I'll be back for more night skiing at this hill.
