Nashoba Valley is basically a hill, but a great one at that. It doesnt match up to anything north of it. It is a great place to learn to shred, and to have a great time. I have gone on days that throw a blanket of snow into your face and shred the mountain. When I go, I usually only go into the terrain park(which isnt that bad for beginners) because the rest of thge mountain is boring. The only other run that is pretty fun is the Indian run. The indian run looks like a large half pipe going down, and nothing is sweeter than to pull a backside 3 off of basically a little kicker at each side. In the terrain park there are some long rails and boxes that I love to jib over. The "main feature" is a peice jump with a 20 foot gap that is way too large for the size of the jump itself. The reason I like Nashoba is because it doesnt gather up snow and create moguls like mountains in northern NY or out west. The moguls make for the WORST experience ever for any snowboarder. You can try to hit them but after gathering speed, nothing is worse than to eventually loose control and get thrown to the ground. Anyways Nashoba is great to gather up 10 or 15 friends and saddle up. Rock on.
