I have been coming here for about 5 years now, and i will always love this place. This was the very first mountain i learned how to ski on and is highly recommended for intermediate skiiers. Probably the most friendliest service i have ever had at a mountain. Everyone from Rentals, Ski Patrols, Lift Operators, and food Service is all filled with friendly people. The Main lift (berkshire express) is very fast. It does tent to get crowded, but the line moves very quickly.
Bad things- First : The terrain park is horiffic. I am not the kind of skiier that likes terrain parks, but DO NOT come here if you are obsessed with them because you will not be satisfied. I was there today, and their idea of a terrain park is to take a piece of long, rectangular block of wood, and lay it in the snow and call it a "rail". And to pile a bunch of snow verticly in a straight line, and call it a "jump". I'm not kidding, If your coming down the "180" trail, there will be a terrain park to your right, and thats exactly what the terrain park looks like. No joke.
Second bad thing: ice, ice, ice, ice, and more ice. Out of all the resorts i have visited over the years, Jiminy peak has the worst conditionds ever. Some of the terrain is so icey, that its un-skiiable. literally. And the gromming is horrendous. However, this isn't stopping me from coming back here. i still, and always will love this place
