We wanted to introduce our kids to skiing and decided to try Jiminy Peak. The "Get" program and Mr. Ed were great! Robert in the ski school was also amazingly helpful. However, I felt like the cranky old guy my son ended up with was better suited for Rutgers basketball coaching than teaching little kids to ski. The trails were beautiful and the lift operators at Cricket and Novice were very nice and caring. It was a pain finding places nearby for breakfast and lunch because, it seems, restaurants have different schedules in the off season. That herded everyone to the same spots around lunchtime, so there was always a wait. Overall, beautiful mountain with great beginner trails, courteous staff and very clean grounds.
