Surprised! Great Mountain!

Pros: Excellent terrain & diversity, atmosphere, staff , snow, lines, no crowd, closeness.

Cons: None, considering its competitive set.

Old School Fun

Pros: Great mid week price and close to NYC & Long Island

Cons: Older lifts

Took off on a Friday and traveled up from Long Islan for the day with my wife. Had a great day of skiing with no crowds With the mid week rate it’s a great... Full review

Old School New England

Pros: Close, quaint, friendly... good ice practice

Cons: Lacks vertical, lacks grooming, lacks glades...

You don't go to Catamount for glitz and glamour... it's an old school New England ski resort that doesn't put on airs. It's smallish... who needs a ski dro... Full review

Catamount is a really nice small full-sized ski station

Pros: People, scenary, Great Barrington, instructors, trails, steep

Cons: small, steep, not all runs always open

Catamount is a really nice small full-sized ski station, with surprisingly long runs through really pretty glades and is a great challenge to your technique... Full review
