Full review

I usually hit up the Beast at least once a year. The online deals make it as cheap as $10 for a lift ticket so I figure even if the conditions are cruddy its still worth it. They do not have the resources that the major resorts have, but they make the most of what they have. There are trails for all tastes. If you happen to be lucky enough to be there on a powder day, then you'll have as much fun as anywhere. There are some impressive natural snow trails. The downside is that its a small resort. The only summit lift is a slow triple - although there are rarely lines. The snowmaking only takes care of about 60% the mountain so if its a bad snow year the options are few. Overall, I recommend Berkshire East to all of my friends.
