Pros: Nice use of vertical, good variety of runs
Cons: Not much. Could use a high speed lift? Skip the cafe at the top.

Wisp has a good variety of terrain and good use of vertical. Could use a high speed lift on the front face, but lots of nice, fairly long intermediate slopes. Even compares well against 7 Springs on many levels. Our stay involved frigid temps on Saturday over the MLK weekend. Parking was not super close, but not bad. Comfort Inn nearby is a dump, would suggest skipping it unless the Wisp lodge is fully booked (it was). DC's Bar and Restaurant (sit-down restaurant) in the base lodge had good food and decent service, but the Pumphouse Cafe at the top in the new "soon to be" villiage was small, over-crowded, cold, and had lousy food. Resort appeared well kept overall. I thought the trail layout was interesting, with a little bit of everything except perhaps for the most extreme skier. My favorite trails were Ace's Run (intermediate) and Main Street (advanced). Both were very well groomed with what seemed like 500+ vertical ft and had nice consistent grades that make for good practice carving.
Did not indulge in Apres-ski, but it looked like they two good bars within the lodge that looked fun.
