Uncrowded, nice staff, good grooming
small, not much variety, small vertical drop, slow lifts
Wisp....wisp wisp wisp. this is a complicated one. im constantly changing my mind on whether i like this resort, or not. so i'll start with the cons.
Cons: uncrowded-people who live or go to wisp a lot were saying that the crowds on presidents day weekend were SUPER, UNCONTROLLABLE, etc. but it wasn't all that bad. I guess if your in a huge group of people, lines can get long, but waits are only about 15 or 20 minutes at the busiest lift and the busiest time. the singles line will b AT MOST 10 minutes waiting.
nice staff-the people who work there, people who just help around and ski patrol are jolly and nice to talk to on lifts
good grooming-i was never early enough to go on the slopes to see curderoy, but when i didn't want them to groom something because of moguls and pure awesome powder, they didn't!!! so i was very happy
the coooons. theres quite a few.
one easy thing to say is that wisp is very small. meaning that there aren't very many trails, and it takes 2 minutes to get down, and 15 minutes or more to get up. the lifts are slow as well. they say that they were decreasing the speed for inexperienced skiiers...and i understand that. i just want a faster ride up.
all together though, nice accomodations, good snow(we get really really lucky with some powder skiing), and some really fun trails over at chair 5
