Pros: first and last resort open for the season
Cons: TOO EXPENSIVE

One of the best in the East
Pros: Tons of terrain. Spreads the crowds. Great glades.
Cons: smaller verticle. base areas can get crowded.
Overall a great mountain with a huge variety of terrain! There are some really amazing trails on this mountain if you can find them. Your best bet is to go off exploring... Full review

Pros: Family friendly, fantastic grooming, consistent product
Cons: 3 hours from Boston, limited night life

We had fun!
Pros: Lots to do, glades, views, length of runs
Cons: Après ski, distance, price of condo
We were a group of three guys in our early 20s (23/24) and checked out Sunday River from Ottawa, Canada for a long weekend in January. We are all relatively good skiers/boarders... Full review
