Not sure where to start. My wife and I just spent a full week at Sunday River (1/27 - 2/1/08). Very excited to ski in Maine, but it was not what I expected.... Full review

Pros: Family oriented, good area ground transportation, & runs that are well groomed
Cons: Often too crowded & they often exaggerate their ski/snow conditions

Pros: 8 Mtn, High speed lifts, spectacular scenery
Cons: Very Expensive
I do like skiing at Sunday River, but with a family of 5 it has become very expensive. With lift tickets being 89 dollars, you can spend between 400 and 500... Full review

Pros: great effort getting the snow down and opening early.
Cons: No staff or embassadors avail. to ask questions.
