Sunday River, a Eastern Resort with Western proportions. The snow and Grooming are second to none, this resort seems to groom nearly everything EACH night. If you dont like that go to Jordan Bowl and you will find Traditional New England skiing. Nearly every peak has an easy way down . If you don't like the easy way there is plenty of very challenging Terrain at the RIVER.Try ICARAMBA if you dare and there are many more to give the expert crowd a thrill. This comes from a skier that has been to nearly all the major Eastern resorts and skied many challenging Runs. The Accommodations are also very good if you are not right near the lifts a shuttle runs every 15 Min. Many of the rooms are with-in a few feet of the lifts. Check out the Matterhorn on wed. they have Stone fired pizza any way you want it and you may join some of the mountain staff who are not afraid of having a good time.
