Hiking to summit option suggested by loaf staff in e-mail response. Didn't attempt as no coverage.

For your safety, the snowfields and bracket basin are closed for the remainder of the season. The snowfields are closed due to timberline conditions. Bracket basin is closed due to the closure of the King Pine lift and partial closure of the spillway crosscut. Hiking is prohibited!
Lifts closed until December 15:

website full of lies. Many runs unskiable. To ski snow fields you would have to hike up due to season closure of timberline chair. Not worth the drive. Customer service terrible. King of spring my a$@. Saddleback way better value.
don't go! Nice cover, base, sun and no wind but no lift access and slope closures are ridiculous. skiing under the ropes with your kids for a couple intermediate runs gets old fast. never coming back here to be teased again
