After years away from Sugarloaf we have recently started going back and we couldn't be more happy. The awesome children's programs are what drew us back but we have fallen in love with the mountain and will keep going back even after all of our kids are out of ski school.
This mountain is HUGE and they get a ton of snow. Beginners and Intermediates will be happy for days but the expert terrain is where this place really shines. The snowfields have always been a staple with the only above treeline skiing in the east, but if you want some unforgettable runs head into the woods. There are glades everywhere on this mountain and there is something for every level of glade skier.
The only downside is the long drive to get here but it's worth every second you spend in the car.
