Pros: large variety for all skill levels, short lines

Its been a few years since my last visit, but Sugarloaf is still my favorite ski resort on the East Coast. Trails are fantastic, with plenty of challenging options for every level of skier that won't have you cruising down the same boring 1 or 2 slopes all day. Trails are also very long with many strategically-placed cross-cuts and trail merges to add variety to your downhill route.
The large size of the mountain helps with crowds, spreading everyone out. During the week, lines were practically non-existent, and even on a Saturday, I don't think I spent more than 5-10 minutes in any lift line and the trails still felt empty compared to others I've been to. Though it takes 2 lifts to get to the top, the amount of vertical terrain you can cover on your way down makes the time sitting on the lift totally worth it.
I thought the nightlife options were decent, but I was with a group (8-10 people), so we were able to keep ourselves very entertained on and off the mountain.
