Monday 4/6 was amazing. Perfect late winter/early spring day in the morning, with a good burst of winter in the afternoon. Summits had 3" on the ground before the end of the day, so I'm sure it was more than a 6" total for that storm. Sadly, Jordan & Aurora are closing
Rained hard in the morning and conditions weren't bad. Then snow started falling and it got really sticky. Winds picked up and most lifts put on hold. Everything froze up after lunch and conditions started to deteriorate.
The rain did some damage to the snow, it was icy corn chunks sat am but softened up in the afternoon. There where some bare and super icy spots which you expect for spring skiing. I'm a boarder so skiiers may report different conditions. should be great when the temps soften the ice and snow.
