Paul: Yes, it went up to 103 out of 160. Skiing is fair at best all over New England. So for this year unless we get snow, I suggest Heading West or really head East as in the Alps!

Paul from Carolina. Unless we get a major storm prior to your arrival I would opt for a refund and cancel. Just my humble opinion. Partial trail openings in middle of February, no glades....trail count going down not up. It's unfortunate !!

Paul from Carolina: you make your trip to The loaf because the terrain is 10 times the Podunk hill you ski on at home. There has already been more snow; the snowmaking is powerful and any run on the loaf beats what you got at home.

Snowed two inches. Fun day whipping around with a fresh layer. Snow guns still going. Mountain needs it!

road the river on Saturday. not bad considering how bad the winter had been. the snowmakers have been working around the clock and it shows, they have the best conditions in the NE IMO. still hoping for a big storm to come in! last time at the river was new years and this weekend was a huge improvement vs that weekend.

Great day of skiing. Pretty icy by 2:00, but the morning was great.

Skied Friday and Saturday 2/5 and 2/6. Conditions much better than expected. About half the terrain closed, but what was open was in great shape. Got a bit scratchy later in the afternoon because of traffic, but two great days of skiing nonetheless.

Lots of hard pack and sheets of ice in places but overall still lots of places with decent skiing under the circumstances.

Booked a trip to Sugarloaf at end of Feb traveling from North Carolina. At this point, our local resorts have more snow base by 3x than the Loaf! What do I do?!?

Should be a good weekend. Guns going everywhere today in all the high traffic spots which is good. Snowed a small bit just a dusting nice to see snow again tho.

Skiied Tues 2/2. Mountain was decent considering the weather (rain and hard freeze- night before). That being said, several runs were closed due to bulletproof snow - crusty spots but good coverage and lots of fun runs anyway. My first time at The Loaf and I'll be back soon!
