Friday 3/9 - The warm Thursday and overnight rain with dropping temps pretty well wiped out any decent conditions from the previous week's storm, bummer. Friday slopes were 50% frozen boilerplate and where the sun softened it up a bit there was a thin bit of some loose granular to work with but that was only for a few hours of the early afternoon before it hardened up as the sun got lower. They need to grind and loosen up the boilerplate to make it worth the visit. Overall a nice little mountain, nature has just dealt some of the worse conditions I have experienced in New England. Not Shawnee's fault, but reality.
