Les Menuires/Saint Martin de Belleville: Part Of The Huge Trois Vallées
The entire Three Valleys has 600 km of prepared pistes, 132 km of cross- country tracks, and 183 lifts that can handle 259,000 skiers per hour. Les Menuires has sa ports center with four sport and fitness areas and offers a hands-free, comfortable, state-of-the-art ski pass.
Les Menuires is a ski resort in the Belleville valley of Les Trois Vallées in the Savoie. The resort has 48 restaurants, 39 ski lifts and 62 trails. Les Menuires hosted some of the events of the 1992 Winter Olympics. It is part of the largest skiable area in the world.
Saint Martin de Belleville, a favorite of snowboarders, is able to augment natural snow through the use of 323 snow cannons. The 39 lifts of Saint Martin de Belleville are able to carry 50,000 people per hour, and the terrain is best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders.
There are six airports within a two-hour drive. Chambery Airport is an hour's drive away, in good driving conditions.
