Decent snow. Packed powder on most runs. They are doing a good job grooming everything. Lots of terrain to choose from. If u veer into the trees it may look powdery but it feels like east coast concrete!
2/18 morning was icy, mostly went up Gold Coast. By 11am sun was out and thick powder surface on over half the slopes. By 3pm, ice was back, a lot of thin slush on Mt. Run toward the bottom.
Feature parks are open, all in all a fun day but really need more snow.
Really great day, especially with sun coming out after noon. Light crowds, friendly staff, fun day. I like the new lift a lot - interesting and challenging terrain. It's great that it's a traditional triple. Keeps the slopes unclogged! Skiing is fun!!
Great day today! Haven't skied in 4 years and it was just fine. Nice packed powder/machine groomed runs; no lift lines - just fun. This pic is of Bruce's run on the Slide Side and was good skiing, no ice, and pretty consistent throughout. Ramsey's and Kit Carson consistent throughout as well. No wind today, but slightly overcast. We need another good storm, but need way more snow for complete coverage! Snow dance in order!!!
Went up Sunday/Monday, a lot better Sunday. Monday some parts were a bit icy, but by the end of the day the snow began to soften up. (Got a tad slushy due to the fair weather conditions). Overall a great two days. Terrain parks were good but the amount of little kids messing up on the fair lifts is absolutely terrible. Worth it.
Hard pack everywhere. Didn't soften even by 2:00 pm. New chair on Crow's is a slow 3-seater with a dangerous exit- steep, turn to left, open cliff on right. Made worse by folks not immediately existing narrow area and just hanging around. Poorly planned.
