We went there for MLK week, which was warm & sunny. It's an hour drive from South Tahoe, and there's nowhere closer to stay. It's worth the drive, sporting one of the most beautiful Lake views you could ask for. And, you can't beat the price...especially the $29 days. This is still my first year skiing, and the resort is great for those going from green to blue. The terrain is diverse which makes for a fun time even for several days. Don't expect a big apres-ski party; there's not much of a bar scene there, and you wouldn't want to do the long drive home hammered anyway.
