  Boreal is Fun!

  Pros: Park, night boarding/skiing, affordable

  Cons: Short runs

  If you're looking for downhill mountain riding, Boreal might disappoint you. There are definitely things to entertain the advanced skier and rider, but it won't have to do with getting your alpine... Full review

  Pros: Closest to Bay Area

  Cons: very short runs, poor trails, crowded

  Pros: Nightskiing

  Cons: short vertical

  Boreal is a convenient resort, right off of I-80. It appeals to pipe and park rats mostly. The draw for me is nightskiing. The runs are short, the rides up seem long... Full review
