Krušné Mountains stretch along the Czech-German border in northwestern part of this country. The highest peak is Mount Klínovec (1244 m). The Krušné Mountains have always benefited from ore containing copper, tin, silver, lead, iron, and in the 20th century as well as uranium. Then is here the brown coal and peat moors that are also a reservoir of water. There are also some radioactive sources. Krušné Mountains have to offer many things to its visitors and compared with other Czech and Moravian Mounatins have one advantage, and that here is not so many tourists. In both summer and winter you can enjoy the beautiful nature and do a lot of sports.
