Korbielów is a resort with over 1000 inhabitants, which lies in south-west part of Silesian Province, in the area of Beskid Żywiecki. The main attraction of Korbielów is one of the biggest ski resorts in Poland. Lying on the slope of Pilsko (1557 m.a.s.l.), offers every year perfect skiing conditions. You can find there about 30 km of routes with different levels of difficulty. There were also snow park and snow tubing truck built. In the premises and nearby the resort there are ski and snowboarding schools, ski equipment rentals, hostel and a tavern, where you can eat warm meal. Specific microclimate makes the snow staying longer on the slopes than in most regions of Poland. Tourists will find in Korbielów several dozen of hotels, and also hostels and cottages next to the slopes. There are also a few restaurants. You can get to Korbielów wit the route 945, leading through Żywiec. Going by bus or a train can be strenuous because from bigger cities you can get only to Bielsko-Biała, and then you have to transfer in Żywiec.
