Actual powder. Heavy Midwestern powder, but powder. Pretty good skiing, not terrible busy before noon.

Skied on Saturday from 11 to 6. Good snow, busy at times, terrain parks were open and not too busy all day. Lots of pizza and some great skiers. Good value and would highly recommend.

I was at Sundown the last two days and the snow was absolutely fantastic. Best all year so far. It should be great all week since the temps appear to be staying low. All runs open. One small jump in the beginner terrain area and plenty of features in the park. Crowds were low over the holidays but I expect the weekend crowds to pick up now. The last two days there were no lines at the main 3 chair.
