We usually hit Chestnut but also decided to give Sundown a try since it's closer to us. Unfortunately we happened to hit "John Deere" day or something like that....lots of blue jean skiers. Anyway, we had fun but food was expensive and not so great. And of course it was way too crowded for the hill. I give the edge to Chestnut in a head to head based on the runs available but it's still pretty good for Iowa.
