Good for first-time families who want to try out skiing. Facilities accommodate those well.
Good also for local teen-agers needing to burn NRG on weekend nights. Facilities accommodate those well, too.

Otherwise, PNS for skiing is a drag. Prices are not cheap, the views are depressing, the hills short and the lines can be long, the snow is largely artificial, the slopes are never prepped it seems. It's like suffereing through a bad day at Kings Island for getting minimial sport and a small breath of fresh air.

Save your money and take a week off to go Utah or Alps...Alps-trip is cheaper.
