    Pros: Close to the city

    Cons: Crowded when weather is good. Short hills. Rarely prepped

    Good for first-time families who want to try out skiing. Facilities accommodate those well. Good also for local teen-agers needing to burn NRG on weekend ... Full review

    Xcellent sking at Perfect North

    Pros: Good value for the $ and great lessons for new skiers

    Cons: Can run out of rental equipment on crowded weekends

    PNS is Okay, but not great.

    Best skiing within 300 miles of Cincinnati

    Pros: Good slopes, great snowmaking capacity

    Cons: slow lifts, lots of beginners

    As long as you don't expect wonders from 400 vertical feet, Perfect North can be quite a bit of fun for the family. It is definitely geared towards familie... Full review
