Ok...Yes, PNS is a good place to go if you can't get to a "good" ski destination. Usually, the staff is nice...but many times the young kids they hire are rude or totally clueless. The first warning I have for you is watch out for the snow report! Yes, if you go to their website the guy who gives the audio report sounds really nice and trustworthy. Trust me....take what that guy says with a grain of salt. He said that the conditions were "grooming up nicely" when in reality it was just a sheet of ice with a little snow on top (Feb 24 10). Needless to say that when and if you took a spill it was very very painful. I literally could have worn ice skates to come down a few of the runs. Also....I have been to PNS on weekens and weekdays......NEVER go on weekends! You will wait 30 minutes in line just to get to the lift! I am not kidding. If you go, only go Mon thru Fri morning. Once everyone gets off work all the "local yokals" come out....yes you will see peopel skiing in work overalls....its Lawerenceburg IN so what do you expect? Only go to PNS if there is alot of snow and it's a weekday! Ya'll have been warned.
