We have have traveled to sun valley for the past 23 years as a family. I have traveled here as a kid before that with my family from Oregon. What I really like about sun valley is the feeling of tradition you get here. The mountain is great for advanced...perfect groomers for wide and fast fast fast GS turns from top to bottom. We have had good luck with the ski school and they even have a kids hill where they take the beginners to learn in comfort. I have rarely waited more than two minutes in a lift line. Are you tired of traffic at home? They have no idea what traffic is here. People here are very friendly and a smile and directions are just a question away. At night we are never disappointed with our dinning options and we love Rickshaw, Ketchum Grill, and sushi on second in town and Ck's in Hailey. I may be sorry for telling you all this but I think Sun Valley really is America's oldest best kept secret.
