Full review

This was our first year skiing Schweitzer. First off, let me just say that getting there is half the battle. It is not easy. There are no commuter flights or bus shuttles into Sandpoint, So you must rent a car in Spokane (add a few hundred bucks) or take a taxi (also a few hundred bucks). Even the larger hotels do not offer shuttle service. In addition the parking sucks big time. Once you get there it is a twenty minute drive from town to the ski area. So in terms of night life add an hour! The skiiing is great on those rare days when the sun shines. Also consider that in the fall and spring it may be raining so bring a parka to go over your ski coat. It would take a miracle for this area ever to be world class. I'm off to Jackson hole and Aspen...
