I agree with the last review…. shame on Schweitzer for closing SO EARLY in the midst of prime winter. Winter continues – even in the lowlands – this year right into May. However, Schweitzer decides to take a knee. Note that truly world class resorts as well as other local mountains have found the formula to profitably stay open. This is just one more message by Schweitzer management to locals that we only care about real estate, forget the skiing. I long for the days when Schweitzer was run by skiers for skiers. Just watch early this coming winter when Schweitzer hypes up interest and begs us to come up and ski on rocks and dirt. Let’s all stay home and remind them that they chose to walk away from 160 inches of snow and many forfeited powder days.
