Uncrowded, Powder, Tree Skiing, Lots of terrain
Not much apres ski, average terrain park (usually too much powder)
Since the last review said "no snow in 7 days", I'll give you the other side of the coin....107" snow base so far in 2012 and it's only December. How about 6 feet of powder in 7 days ?!?! WOW! If you're looking for an uncrowded resort and your primary objective is SKIING / BOARDING, this is the place! Schweitzer may not have iconic apres ski, but if you want to spend more time skiing and less time waiting to get on the lift, you should check it out. Very family friendly, small-town feel. Sandpoint is a great ski town too. Again, this is no Whistler or Vail, but for pure skiing enjoyment, it can't be beat. Lots of powder, no lines, friendly people. Enjoy!!
