Whoever said Schweitzer does not have advanced Terrain apparently did not ski the back bowl nor the face. Most people, and I do mean most people, fine the terrain at Schweitzer to be too difficult. Yes, I agree if you are an intermediate skier there is not enough terrain and if you are a beginner, you are refrained to the hill below the lodge. However, if you are an advanced skier, YEPPIE!! Yes, the Goast lift is slow!! Would be nice if they put in a new high speed quad up to where the T-bar takes you on the back side. Eat the "Outback" potato at the Outback. Best meal on the hill. You have to love the elevation. Top of the hill is 6400 ft compared to most places in Colorado at 12,000. You can ski all day and still have oxygen in your lungs and never get elevation sickness. OUTSTANDING Mountain if you are a skier!! Like anywhere, with no new snow, skiing is not as exciting as skiing in the powder.
