Obscene amounts of snow at a relaxed pace.
Lack of challenging terrain and variety.
Cruinsing is so good here they should have Low-Riders for groomers. Lots of snow, enough lift capacity, good day lodge and great people. For intermediate and advanced you won't find anything real hard to ski here unless the Punch Bowl is windblown and drifted. If that doesn't humble you then do it in flat light, I dare you!
If you think you know it all, consider visiting the ski school. I've seen them fine tune some really good skiers.
I work for Sun Valley but because Pomerelle is usually the first in the region to open, I start every year there. It's a great place to loosen up and blow out the cobwebs. I've attended many clinics there and will always make a point to return and scuff up their powder at least once each year. If you don't like powder they definitely know how to groom and aren't bashful about doing it so don't look for bumps.
If all you're looking for is a real good days skiing with lots of snow, short lift lines, no nightmare runs and a really good burger from an outdoor grill, go here.
