tight trees make for fresh tracks almost all the time, super convenient location
This mountain is right next to the I-90 on the Idaho/Montana border. With its easy to access location, I'm always surprised at how empty the mountain is. We went on Christmas Eve this year expecting huge crowds and were almost the only people on the mountain. There are three chairlifts servicing all three sides of a peak, they all drop you off at the same area at the top which makes it really easy to meet and/or not loose friends. The trees are really tight and small but if you are a bit of a technical rider you can get through them and find some fresh tracks. They also have very fair prices considering the amount of accessable terrain. This is like a hidden gem in an obvious area.
